{icon of the week! Audrey Hepburn}

Classic Elegance
"The most important thing is to enjoy your life
-to be happy-that's all that matters." -A.H.

When it comes to elegance and style, few women surpass Audrey Hepburn. She has become an adjective-"so Audrey"-describing some ethereal combination of grace, elegance, charm and wisdom. Her clothing style remains a grounding influence on fashion, that little black dress,big sunglasses, short hair, simplistic elegance. Audrey taught us that being a woman is as simple as knowing who you are, and who you are not. Ti the world she represented all that a woman could be.
-how to be lovely

My all time favorite movie is "Breakfast at Tiffany's"
i also like "Roman Holiday" :] but you just can't beat that little black dress!

"Givenchy's are the only clothes in which i feel myself. He is far from a couturier, he is a creator of personality." -AH

Audrey emphasized her ballerina style.It will always be classic.

{icon of the week! Brigitte Bardot}

For this week our Fashion icon is...
 Brigitte Bardot!

She was France's Blonde Bombshell, a sixtie's sex kitten and an animal rights activist, appearing in 16 films, she became world-famous due to her role in {her then-husband Roger Vadim's controversial film} And God Created Woman. She later starred in Jean-Luc Godard's 1963 cult film, Contempt. She was nominated for a BAFTA Award for Best Foreign Actress for her role in Louis Malle's 1965 film, Viva Maria!.

She caught the attention of French intellectuals. She was the subject of Simone de Beauvoir's 1959 essay, The Lolita Syndrome, which described Bardot as a "locomotive of women's history" and built upon existentialist themes to declare her the first and most liberated woman of post-war France.

Bardot retired from the entertainment industry in 1973. During her career in show business Bardot starred in 47 films, performed in numerous musical shows, and recorded 80 songs.
